Victorian Eastlake wash stand

This is a oak wash stand circa 1880 to 1900. A very handsome piece with raised panel doors and the original solid brass Eastlake handles. This wash stand was one step away from the kindling pile and has been fully reconditioned with extensive repairs. Not only will it look great it is fully functional and capable of everyday use. The finish is golden oak aniline dye and top coated with hand wiped satin poly finish.

CIRCA 1910 OAK ROLLTOP DESK

This is a turn of the century solid oak roll top desk manufactured by The Filley & Crane Co. of Waterbury, CT.  This is a classic piece in the truest sense and an icon of a bygone era. Passed down through 3 generations of family of the original owner who lived in Northern Connecticut.   It has been meticulously restored and is fully functional in every respect true to the original design including the locking tambour mechanism.  Stained over the original finish with a golden oak aniline dye it has 3 coats of lacquer finish with the writing surfaces finished with a post-catalyzed lacquer (scratch and heat resistant).

This is a late 19th century armoire made of tulip poplar manufactured in Baltimore, MD.  Stained with extra dark walnut aniline dye and finished with semi-gloss lacquer.
